Gyeongbokgung Palace and Toy Museum

Since it's winter, I have a lot more free time to share my pictures on this site (it's almost too cold to ever leave my apartment!) Last week I had a week off of school for the Lunar New Year so I headed over to Gyeongbokgung Palace, which is the most famous in Seoul. Unfortunately, we arrived at 4 PM, and it was closed! Well, whatever. If you've seen one palace, you've pretty much seen them all. Still, I was able to take some pictures of the public areas. Because of the time, the sunlight was very nice.

After Gyeongbokgung we discovered a little toy museum on a cute street that was lined with coffee shops and tiny restaurants. Although it was small, admission was only 4,000 won, and it was a nice way to escape the cold for awhile. It was mostly action figures/figurines arranged in glass display cases according to comic/TV show/movie.

Really bad hair day!
